Production methods:  

Crude oil distillation the furnace-fuel oil is distilled from crude oil. Mostly, the furnace oil is referred to as a liquid used to burn in a furnace, boiler or power generating engine. The furnace-fuel oil is referred to as a shear of crude oil, with a flash point of about 40C. With this definition, diesel is a kind of furnace-fuel oil. The furnace-fuel is composed of long-chain hydrocarbons, especially alkanes, cycloalkanes, and aromatics. Fuel oil is placed in the category of heavy industrial fuel, which is heavier than gasoline and naphtha. The length of the fuel chain is different, depending on the type of usage. For example, diesel fuel oil is composed of 10-20 carbon-carbohydrate hydrocarbons.

Swallowing it causes burning of the mouth, throat and chest and abdominal distension, nausea, and vomiting. Reducing performance of the central nervous system, such as anesthesia, may also be observed.
